Dear Coordinator
Early hours of Friday morning a stolen Freelander car parked in our road and the two male occupants were seen by a Neighbourhood Watch member, who had heard a noise (being summer time the windows were open) and watched them looking at properties and then enter the drive of his neighbour. He raised the alarm with the police who were there in minutes and gave chase as they disappeared across back gardens. We do not believe they were apprehended but stolen items from a person's garage were returned to their owner and the car removed on the back of a car transporter. Particularly, as it appears these two males are still around do make sure your home, outbuildings etc are secure and if you are disturbed during the night just check the window and if anything is seen to be suspicious phone the police immediately. It may be you will stop a crime and help the police catch a criminal.
By sharing information we can alert others and be a little more vigilant. Generally our area is low crime but it doesn't mean no crime and neighbours working together means there are more eyes. Thank you for your time and do, if possible, share this information with your members.
