Dear Coordinator
Following a meeting with the Police at Attercliffe Police Station it was noted that car related crime in our area has gone up. Please therefore check that:
1. You always lock your car when parked even on your drive
2. Leave nothing on view whenever you park, even a coat or bag as these could be of possible interest to a thief.
3. Leave no evidence of a sat nav such as a lead connected to your car usb port, if possible wipe the ring mark left on the windscreen when removing the sat nav. And could be an idea to leave the glove compartment open showing it is empty.
The snapping of Euro locks has also increased so it could be worth checking whether your locks are anti-snap locks.
Please circulate the above so your members are also aware.
